Cenotes Angelita and Casa Cenote

Cenote Angelita is renowned for its mysterious underwater river, a visually striking layer of hydrogen sulfide that separates the fresh water above from the salt water below, creating an illusion of diving into two different worlds.

Casa Cenote, nestled along the Riviera Maya, offers a unique diving experience that blends the serenity of a lush mangrove forest with the crystal-clear waters of an underground river system. This open-air cenote is a sanctuary for a diverse range of marine life, including colorful fish and fascinating underwater plant life.

This exceptional package offers divers a captivating journey through the Yucatan’s underwater marvels, combining the ethereal, otherworldly allure of Cenote Angelita with the vibrant, life-rich waters of Casa Cenote. Participants will immerse themselves in a spectrum of aquatic experiences, from Angelita’s mysterious hydrogen sulfide layer to Casa’s sunlit, freshwater allure, creating lasting memories that echo the thrill of discovery and the serenity of nature’s underwater wonders.

Yes. To make the most of your cenote dive, please contact us before booking so we can arrange a short refresher session.

Cenote dives can be suitable for beginners, depending on the cenote. Triton Diving offers introductory cenote dives that are perfect for newly certified divers or those with limited experience. Our experienced instructors give thorough briefings and make sure all safety measures are in place, so beginners feel comfortable. However, some cenote dives require advanced skills because of their depth and complexity.

For a first experience, the beautiful Chac Mool cenote is perfect: it suits all levels and has many of the highlights divers come to see in cenotes.
